This annual event is one of our most popular events. Over 20 local area musicians gather together for over two hours of western, country and bluegrass music performed in the style of the Grant Ole Opry - one performer after the other each performing two or three songs. Musicians scheduled include Marie Jarreau, Gary Simpkins, Marty and Lil -"The Thrifties," Kenn Trout, Sonja Whisman, Lee Zimmer, Reno and Sheila McCormick, Kathi Bellucci, Lincoln Thomasson, and Ron McLain.
Each Opry-style show honors a local country and western performer. In 2019, our guest of honor was Ray Sealing. This March we will be honoring long time area performer Bill Bassett., who will be performing with his backup band of Tommy Anderson-bass, Dave Rentz-drums, Reno McCormick-guitar, Tony Cook-fiddle.
Originally from Seattle, WA, Bill has been performing throughout the West since 1971. His talent even led him to Nashville where he played back-up for many of country music’s greatest artists. In 2005, Bill joined the Blazin'M Ranch and now steps to the front of the stage as the Master of Ceremonies. The Singing Cowboys of the Blazin' M Ranch, Bill Bassett, Jeanne and Jim Martin, were inducted into the Greater Arizona Country Music Hall of Fame in 2018.
